Šalies pieno gamintojai, susiduriantys su ekonominiais sunkumais dėl COVID-19, sulauks valstybės laikinosios pagalbos – 19,2 mln. Eur. Šiai pagalbos schemai jau pritarė ir Europos Komisija.
Siekiant išlaikyti Lietuvos pieno gamybos potencialą, šia pagalba bus kompensuojamos birželio–rugpjūčio mėnesių pieno gamintojų pajamų netektys. Jos sulauks visi ūkiai, kurie laiko karves, nepriklausomai nuo gyvulių skaičiaus.
Numatoma, kad parama bus išmokėta rugsėjo mėnesį .
Ši priemonė yra pirmosios pagalbos schemos pratęsimas. Ir smulkūs, ir stambūs pieno ūkiai, nukentėję nuo koronaviruso pandemijos ir karantino sukeltų pasekmių, už balandžio-gegužės mėnesius jau gavo 18,5 mln. Eur pagalbą. Paraiškas pateikė 27 tūkst. pieno gamintojų.
